Volunteer Vacancies
Creche - operates during Sunday morning services on a rota basis expect to be used once every two months. You will need to contact Steve Cort and being CRB checked and applying the Church Child Safety Policy will be compulsory.
Sunday School - operates on a rota, if need be, unless you feel particularly called to teaching children the essentials of the Gospel when you could become a more regular teacher. Contact Don Weaver. Expect to be CRB checked and being required to apply the Church Child Safety Policy.
Communion Set Up - this is a straightforward job but very impotant to the smooth running of the Communion Morning services. See Hugh & Tricea Trimble for more details.
Welcome Team - essential requirements are an empathy with how people are feeling as the enter the building, the ability to recognise visitors and being an easy conversationalist that sets people at their ease. Could this be you? Contact Stephen Orange.
Sound Team - committed to excellence and attention to detail, with the ability to trouble shoot technical problems as they arise. Contact David Kirkland Jnr.
Video Recoding Team - an increasingly important part of our ministry and outreach. Got a techy vibe - this could be for you. Contact Pete .....
Geronimo - working as a supporter for the young children's work after school on Thursdays. Expect to be CRB checked and having to know and apply the Church Child Safety Policy. Contact Beth .....
Rainbow Tots - working with preschoolers whilst the Mums get a chance to chat and unwind midweek. Expect to be CRB checked and to uphold the Church Child Safety Policy. Contact Steph Kirkland.
Crisis Meal Team - why not join the list of people who volunteer to provide and cook a meal for people in time of crisis. This includes births and recovering from illnesses. Contact
Alpha Groups - need people to set up and clear away and perhaps even cook for the guests and team. A very effective part of the active evangelism of this church. Contact Fay and Martin.
Home Group Hosting - You can volunteer your house for our expanding list of home groups (leaders of home groups are appointed by request by the eldership). See David Clarke.
Stage Management Team - every so often we need furniture shifting for special events and before and after services, could we depend on you. See Bob Reeve.
Musicians - a certain level of competency is required but we need a growing team of musicians to minister at various events and service. See John MacDonald.
Maintanence - are you handy, like forth road bridge there is usually something to do. See Kevin Kirkland.
