Chris Whitell

Although I was brought up in the church (Methodist) and my parents were Christians I did not become a Christian until I was 18. I have now been a Christian for 35 years. I am married (to Andrea) with four grown up children and currently 4 grandchildren and I am an accountant by profession. I have been an elder at RCF for 6 years. I am the church treasurer and the appointed elder for overseas missions.

I was born in Motherwell ,Scotland and was brought up in a Christian home. I committed my life to Christ as a teenager. I married Grace in 1970 and that year moved to Rugby where we established home and became members of Rugby Christian Fellowship . We have three grown up sons and two grandchildren. I am employed as an Engineer for a large international Geotechnical Contractor and have interests in Geology, Gardening and Classical Guitar. My Eldership duties at RCF include being Lead Safeguarding Officer and administering the Gift Aid Scheme.
