Our Values
We have seven core values to help us focus on our vision
We believe our greatest days are still ahead – “Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever”. The Pastors and Elders are seeking God for clear direction. We believe every church needs to discover its redemptive purposes i.e. why God has called RCF into existence.
Whilst all the specifics are not known, we believe that God is leading us to discover and develop:
1 A Growing Ministry of Worship and Intercession
Our priority is to be a people of Worship. We embrace the words of_Jesus: “without me you can do nothing”. Prayer must be at the heart of all we do.

2 A deepening Relational Community
God calls us to ‘love one another’. We believe every church needs to strengthen the community. We need each other. We will develop Small Groups to help us build church relationally, as well as to reach out to the wider community in practical love.
Small Groups Co-ordinator: David Clarke
Community Care: Bob Reeve
3 A ministry of Training and Equipping
We are passionate about teams; in all but the rarest of cases – one is never enough. We encourage a culture of teams of people working+together at every level of RCF life.
According to Ephesians 4, the primary focus of Pastors and Elders is to “equip the saints for ministry”. We will establish a training and_equipping programme, for the preparing and releasing of the Lord’s people into ministry. From new Christians to the experienced Christians, we will encourage ongoing development and growth.

4 A growing and strategic World Mission Vision
We pray that the Lord himself will lead us to nations, which we can serve in earnest prayers, generous giving and sending teams. We believe that God will raise up long and short-term missionaries from RCF.

5 A growing Evangelistic Ministry
We want to give every one, each new man, woman, boy and girl an opportunity to hear, understand, accept or reject Jesus Christ as Lord. We are committed to presenting the gospel by all means. This is the privilege and responsibility of the Whole Church.

Alpha & Freedom in Christ Co-ordinators: Martin & Fay Williams
6 A deepening desire for Unity with all God’s People
We are emphatic in our belief that no one church or group will get the job done alone. We do honour and thank God for all He is doing through all His people. We are committed to church unity, love and co-operation. Our ministers regularly meet with town wide and national_ministers for prayer and fellowship under the banner of “Revive”.
It is our policy when an individual is joining us from another Church, to contact the former church leaders. This is simply a courtesy and helps to maintain the Unity of the Body._We are a member church of the Elim Pentecostal Churches and a member of the Evangelical Alliance. We are committed to building bridges of co-operation and partnership.
7 A growing commitment to excellent Administration
We honour, value and encourage those with the ministry of administration. We believe it is honouring to God, for His Church to be organised efficiently and responsibly. When good organisation is in place, everyone benefits and Christ is honoured._We will not put the “cart before the horse”. Organisation and systems must serve the ministry, not vice versa. However, good organisation and administration are vital in building His Church.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the_believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and_enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved!”
Acts 2: 42-47
