Hi From Norman & Margaret Crofts in Romania

We are working in Oradea, which is 30 minutes over the Hungarian border, 14hrs from the capital Bucharest.

We live in the city, in a rented house & work with a small village church. (A Vineyard Church).

Margaret teaches English in the church's kindergarten to 4-5yr olds. There are 4 classes in all ranging from ages 3 - 7yrs. Margaret is enjoying her work & now also teaches 3 Romanian lessons a week. Matematica - Maths, Limbajului - language & mediului - the world around us.

Norman works mainly with the old people, distributing food packets, praying with the sick & visiting the elderly in their own homes. Distribution is to approximately 350 people per month. The packets are paid for with money raised from donation in England. Norman also helps with maintaining the large premises & grounds that the church owns.

The work is very challenging, but also rewarding. Margaret has seen children go through all the classes & move on to school where they are all doing very well. Norman has seen many healings & answers to prayer.

We have been working in Romania for 5 1/2 years. It has taken a while to get used to the culture & to learn the language.

We would say that the hardest thing for us is that we really miss our children & grandchildren & of course our friends.
