Beyond Our Walls
Below is a very brief summary of what happens in our community of Rugby, and beyond the town in the nation and the wider world.
The Oasis Counselling Centre is one of the foremost counselling services in Rugby.
Oasis provides a sensitive, professional, and confidential counselling service working within the ethical guidelines as defined by the Association of Christian Counselling (ACC).
All counsellors are professionally qualified and have many years of counselling experience.
Rugby Street Pastors
Street Pastors play an active part in more than 270 towns and cities around the UK.
They engage with people on the streets to care for them, listen to them and help them.
Street Pastors work together with other partners in the night-time economy to make communities safer.
Revive Network - Rugby
Revive Rugby is the outcome of a real and genuine unity of purpose among the churches of the borough of Rugby.
This has been primarily demonstrated in a growing trust & in the developing relationships between church leaders.
There has also been a renewed vision for the church's mission in the area, the emergence of new joint projects (R-HoP, Hope4, Refresh) and the church's commitment to work together for the greater good of the Kingdom.
Your "Frontline" is the place where you spend the majority of your time outside of church. It’s the place where you meet people who do not know Jesus. It's the place that God has called you to and placed you in, to be his missionary where there are people who need to know God’s love.
Less than 7% of the UK currently go to church. Therefore where God has placed us for his purpose is of huge significance.
If we are to effectively reach the UK for Jesus, then living our lives for Him on our Frontlines is important.
Rugby Elim partners with a number of missionaries and organisations around the world.
As a church, we support them with prayer and finance, as they communicate and show Jesus' love, help alleviate poverty through education, skills training, medical services and aid, and serve the local church in a variety of ways abroad among many different people groups.
