At the heart of Rugby town centre, we’re building a space that’s all about people — because people matter.
As well as a ground floor coffee shop the building will be home to a dedicated counselling and wellbeing centre, offering confidential support for individuals, couples, and families. The space will also host marriage courses, discussion-based programmes such as Alpha, and practical support including debt advice — all designed to help people of all ages navigate real life with confidence and support.
More than a building, this is a commitment to Rugby and its people — a place for belonging, growth, and shared life, woven into the everyday rhythm of the town.
THE SPACE
Spread across four floors, the building is designed to serve people throughout the week. The ground floor offers a welcoming coffee space at street level, with the lower ground floor providing relaxed lounge and working areas, youth space, and overflow seating.
The upper floors are home to flexible meeting and training spaces, alongside a dedicated counselling and wellbeing centre, offices, and quiet rooms for support and care.
All floors will be accessible by stairs and lift making the building one big hub for the town.
Ground Floor
The ground floor will host a modern, welcoming coffee shop in the heart of Rugby town centre, designed as a place of connection and mission. It will be a warm, inclusive space where people can gather, build relationships, work and feel at home.
More than a café, it will serve as a natural front door to the life of the church, creating opportunities for meaningful community engagement and offering practical support.

First Floor
The first floor will provide a flexible and welcoming space designed to support gatherings throughout the week. This level will host a range of activities, including midweek meet-ups, groups, training courses, and times of reflection and prayer.
An overflow to the ground floor it will also serve as a versatile environment that can be used by other business and charities as a training and meeting facility.

The second floor will be designed to provide a calm, safe, and confidential environment for counselling and pastoral care. Purpose-built counselling rooms will allow established support services to continue and grow, offering space for listening, guidance, and care for individuals, couples, and families within the community.
The floor will also include offices for staff and teams for not just Rugby Elim but for business and charities across Rugby.

The basement will be developed as a relaxed space that supports the wider life of the building. Designed as an overflow to the ground floor coffee shop, it will offer a comfortable lounge-style environment where people can sit, connect, and spend time together in a more informal setting.
This level will also function as a dedicated youth space, providing a welcoming and safe environment for our youth programme to grow and develop.
